Alright, alright!!!

What I've been doing for nearly the last month:

Wine tasting.  Ashe and I have visited over 20 wineries, tasted well over 100 different wines (ok, probably more like 300), and now have well over 100 bottles of wine at home.  I've become a memebr of 4 different wineries, so will now receive regular shipments of wine. It's getting to the point I don't know where to put them all.  I was thinking about blogging about each of the trips, but I think it's better suited for a book.  With 1200 wineries in California, I'm not lacking for material.  I'm going to start taking classes to learn more, and I'm going to try my best to be involved in the wine industry.  (If you're interested in being a part of the structured tastings that are a part of the classes, let me know.  Couples prefered.  Pregnancies ok, you can spit out the wine.)  If you are, or know of any investors, let me know, the business plan will be ready in 6 weeks at the most. 

Dining:  Wow have we had some spectacular dinners in the past few weeks.  We've been out to dinner in Stockton, Lodi, Modesto, Sacramento, Oakland, San Francisco and Napa.

Shopping:  We have been to every outlet mall we knew of and some we just happened to pass by.  We both got some new clothes.

Working:  One week, I worked 61 hours.  Nasty I know.  I don't do that often, but I do get paid overtime!!!  I've been getting pretty popular now that bunches of people at my company (in a whole bunch of different offices) know my capabilities.  Consulting companies tend not to share work between offices, but I'm getting pulled in all directions.

What I haven't been doing for nearly the last month:

Smoking.  I guess I consider it less of a deal than it really is.  Granted it does feel nice.  Driving to work, I notice people smoking in their cars, and I actually think to myself:  "How gross."  Before, when I would see a good-looking girl smoking, I found it more attractive.  Now I find it gross.  (Just a side note for you ladies that smoke.  The reason I found smoking sexy was because I knew [really knew], that women who smoked had less 'scruples'.  Yeah, it means you're easy.  Even if you aren't but you smoke, guys think you are.  There is another reason for you to quit.)  I was standing in line at a gas station to buy a bag of Cheese Nips before the drive home yesterday.  Ahead of me, the man asked for two packs of smokes.  I smiled a little, but was thinking in my head:  "HAHA!!!  LOSER!!  ADDICT!!!  I'M SO BETTER THAN YOU!!!"
