MySpace Tools
Friday, June 2, 2006 I actually saw one MySpace tool for sale. I checked out the demo, but it didn't work. Other than that, I've seen many people victims of the whole 'repost this to get a bunch of friends'. I see those ALL the time.
Well, I happened to be working on some Internet Explorer manipulation for a client yesterday, and realized there was a bunch of this I could use for a MySpace tool. I took my new found knowledge home and created a rudimentary tool that sends out friend requests. Unfortunately you still have to click the 'Add to Friends' button, but it still works pretty darn well.
Aside from sending requests, the coolest part I think is the mining of user ID's. I've got the program to collect User ID's from the friends list of someone else, so you can, with some time, send a freind request to all of Tom's friends. (Or Forbidden's which is actually who I used for this experiment.)
After I figure out mail and comments, I may end up packaging this tool.

Nevermind those limitations above. It just keeps getting better.
