Transformers

The popular science blog reported the Transformers Movie trailer is online now.  Just a couple days ago, BoingBoing said there is a casting call for extras for the movie in Burbank.

I gotta tell ya, I couldn't be less interested in the Transformers movie.  Considering my age (31), I should be anxiously awaiting this movie.  Transformers were at their peek of popularity when I was 10 years old, I begged my parents on every gift occasion for specific Transformer toys, heck, I think I even had a Transformers lunchbox. 

Maybe I'm just too old, but I can't accept the Transformers anymore.  With the kind of high-end technology and intelligence it would take to create such machines, I can't imagine that a humanoid form would come out on top for fighting.

It's like the poor science used in a movie for filler has made itself the premise.

Wait... is it possible to be TOO MUCH OF A GEEK to enjoy a Transformers movie?!?

It doesn't seem possible! Reality as I know it is forever altered. O_O;
