I am the man.

Have you ever been to a bar and seen that one guy who is with two sexy girls, and you wonder what it’s like to be him? This Friday night at Bradley’s I was that guy, and I tell you, it was pretty sweet.
When Vanity and I got to Bradley’s, it was still a little dead. Only a handful of people were in the place, and really the only people I knew there, worked there. We ordered a couple drinks and went outside, well, there was finally a familiar face outside, a sweet girl I’ve known for a long time. She’s married to a musician who’s in a fairly famous band, so I tend to see her at the bar without her husband pretty often. That night, he was in Chicago. She was there with a bunch of her friends, supporting the band that was playing, where, coincidentally, Vanity knew the lead singer. The girls out on the patio were louder than you would expect 7 girls to be. At least 5 of them were yelling over everyone else in their mission to be heard. When the band started playing, they all went inside.
Vern, the chef at Bradley’s, joined us again outside, but sadly, sans the little tapas he had last week. The complete menu, for lunch and late night snacking, will be ready Wednesday. Vern really is an amazing chef, and I think Bradley’s made a good move in bringing him on board.
Later in the evening, another party came out to the patio, including a couple pretty, girls, one whom Vanity was rather fond of. With a little ice-breaking help from me, Vanity and she started talking and making future plans for shopping and other girl stuff. We invited her to go with us to see Superman on the IMAX in Dublin. Good thing she didn’t make that trip.
All three of us decided we wanted to play pool, so I went to go claim the table. (I’m a pretty good player, so I can usually do that.) We played a three-way game. (Some call it Cutthroat; others call it Cat’s eye.) Every guy around the pool table watched and drooled at the two sexy girls I was playing pool with. We finished our game, and left the pool table area to go back outside and have another drink.
Before the evening came to a close, the three of us made a quick trip to McDonalds for some late night snacking, then Vanity and I went home to call it a night.
