WSOP art.

With the final event of the World Series of Poker underway at the Rio, Harrah’s entertainment has to make a decision of what to do with the commissioned Las Vegas Sign Replica. The sign, made by world record holder in cardstacking (for both height and size), Bryan Berg, is made of 500 decks of cards, 800 dice and 1800 poker chips.

After hearing about this story, I had to check out this Bryan Berg fellow. Go to his site, and see some of the most amazing card houses I’ve ever seen. I had no idea anything like this even existed.

Now, for the Vegas sign, he used glue for the first time. All of the card houses he has built used only cards, no adhesive. Keep Marsha and her charm bracelet away from this guy.

Mr. Berg is trying to work with the casino to keep the piece in a plexiglass case.

Cool, but somewhat tedious a hobby... Or maybe I'd just get too easily frustrated (which is more likely...) :p

I don't have the creativity needed to decide where to put all those damn cards and to come out with something so cool as this in the end. However, I'd like to thank you for giving me something to enjoy today besides all the negativity in the world. :-)
